UNIKAMA – The Program of English Language Student Association (HMPS) University of Kanjuruhan Malang (Unikama) held an English Special Occasion event. The activity which took the theme of Creative Teaching and Learning was initiated by the English Department Student Association (EDSA) which is held every two years.
“This activity aims to provide reinforcement regarding the most up-to-date learning methods, the ones of the learning characteristics in 21st century is that teachers are required to be creative in learning. In addition, today’s program aims to equip students with a variety of creative and innovative teaching strategies, “said the Dean of English Education Department Riza Weganofa, M.Pd
Dr. Mirjam Anugerahwati as a reliable speaker in the field of Curriculum and Instructional Material, such as TEFL and ESP, namely senior lecturers from State University of Malang (UM). In this activity the English education students of Kanjuruhan University in Malang as participants. They were very enthusiastic, it could be seen from the questions given by the participants as a reflection of their experience.
“Through this activity, I hope that students must equip themselves with broad insights and learn a lot and seek knowledge. One of them is by following the way of increasing professional competence workshops and seminars like this. “Hopefully this event will be a lighter for students to be creative in teaching,” she explained.
