UNIKAMA – What a proud achievement. The Dean of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry (Fapet), Universitas PGRI Kanjuruhan Malang (Unikama) was entrusted with being the keynote speaker in the International Conference. The ICAFT 2021 Seminar (International Conference on Agriculture, Animal Science and Food Technology) was organized by Universiti Sultas Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Terengganu, Malaysia.
As Dean of Fapet Unikama Dr. Ir. Enike Dwi Kusumawati, S.Pt., MP., IPM explained that Fapet Unikama has collaborated with the Faculty of Bioresources & Food Industry, UniSZA Terengganu, Malaysia since 2018.
“International Conference are scheduled for March 2-3, 2021. Virtually via WEBEX Event. This activity has the theme Agricultural Innovation for Prosperity & Food Security. I am very proud to be the keynote speaker along with keynote speakers from the Universities of Thailand, Pakistan and the world of Industry, “he explained.
The material that will be delivered by the Dean as well as the Fapet Lecturer at Unikama is the technology of separating X and Y spermatozoa using local resources to support food security. Information related to the international seminar can be followed at the link: unisza.edu.my/icaft/.
“I have conducted various researches related to spermatozoa separation technology X and Y since 2006 until now in collaboration with the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya, the Center for Artificial Insemination in Singosari Malang, the Grati Pasuruan Beef Cattle Research Workshop, and PT Widodo Makmur Perkasa,” he added.
Currently Fapet Unikama continues to encourage lecturers and students to continue to work and continue to innovate in education and research and apply the results of their research in society and industry.
He hopes that by being selected as the keynote speaker, it can motivate other lecturers to keep achieving even in a pandemic like this.
